Farrell Wins RLPA NYC Player of the Year

Rabbitohs centre Dylan Farrell has won the Rugby League Professionals’ Association National Youth Competition Player of the Year Award.

Farrell was one of the stand out players in South Sydney’s Toyota Cup team which won the minor premiership this season, making his first grade debut in spectacular style against the Tigers in round 22 with a three try performance.

Farrell was judged by his peers to the top performer in this year’s under 20s competition to receive the RLPA award.

Rabbitohs Toyota Cup team manager John Hutchinson accepted the award on behalf of Farrell at last night’s awards ceremony, as Farrell is recovering from shoulder surgery which has ruled him out of the Toyota Cup finals series.

On behalf of everyone connected to the Rabbitohs, we congratulate Dylan on his award.
