COFFS Harbour will miss out on seeing Macksville local and Australian Test centre Greg Inglis line up for the Rabbitohs on Saturday.

Inglis suffered a severe high ankle sprain after scoring a try for the Indigenous All stars in Saturday night's All Stars game and could be out for up to three months.

The 25 year old told a trainer he was "shattered" as he lay on the ground following the incident before having to be carried from the field.

One of the big draw cards for South Sydney fans ahead of the match at BCU International Stadium, Inglis' injury is sure to leave many local supporters disappointed.

The Rabbitohs should hopefully see the return of Sam Burgess for the match with the Great Britain International close to full health following a season ending ankle injury in 2011.

South Sydney is due to arrive in Coffs Harbour early this week ahead of the match for a training camp at Pacific Bay Resort.
