Wing Named in NSW Origin Team

South Sydney utility Craig Wing has been named in the NSW Origin Team for game one of the 2009 Series to be played at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne on Wednesday 3 June.

Wing has won a spot on the interchange bench, enabling NSW to use his skills across a number of positions. Wing will play for NSW for the first time in three years, after having already played in ten State of Origin matches for the Blues between 2003 and 2006.

Wing will not be available for selection for the Rabbitohs round 12 game against the Raiders next Monday 1 June. Raiders five-eighth Terry Campese will also be unavailable for the game due his selection in the number six jumper for the Blues.
