Asotasi had been cited for an incident during the Rabbitohs' 40-20 win over Sydney Roosters on Monday night when he made contact with Jake Friend with his knees as the Roosters' hooker scored a try. Asotasi took the guilty plea and also successfully applied for a seven-year incident-free discount to avoid any ban and will play for Souths against the Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium on Sunday. Melbourne Storm's Adam Blair and Gold Coast Titans' Anthony Laffranchi, the only other players charged after round 21, both received one-game bans on Tuesday after entering early guilty pleas. AAP
