SOUTH Sydney chief executive Shane Richardson said Cronulla captain Paul Gallen "has got to be under a bit of pressure" over the tackle that left Craig Wing concussed.

Having just returned from a two-week suspension, Gallen is again under fire after Wing appeared to be hit high on Friday night.

The incident left the South Sydney coaching staff fuming after referee Ben Cummins failed to put Gallen on report. A dazed Wing, who had no recollection of the incident yesterday, was forced off in the opening half, before returning with 20 minutes remaining.

"Gallen's got to be under a bit of pressure. Our coaching staff were pretty ropeable,'' Richardson said. "Wingy didn't know where he was - he was on another planet. I haven't seen the video, but at the time I thought it was pretty ordinary. But that will be left to the powers that be.''

Wing said he would be right for the Rabbitohs' trip to the Gold Coast next Saturday night.

"I had a bit of a headache after the game, I was a bit dusty but I'm OK now,'' Wing said. "I can't remember the incident at all, I don't really remember the first half. The boys were saying the doc sat with me most of the second half and just kept asking me questions, then when I started getting them right I went back on.''
