Well State of Origin is done and dusted for another 12 months with the mighty Queenslanders winning for the fifth straight year, however, on the club scene there is lots to play for in round 16 this weekend.

Places in the third state of origin match, along with remaining alive for September’s finals series are two that should motivate the players, if not then the Women of League weekend is bound to do so.

While several of our heroes and clubs will don pink, either full or just a little bit, it is for a good cause.

On the field, and round 16 kicks off as usual on Friday night when the table-topping Dragons host the third-placed Wests Tigers.

The Dragons welcome back experienced trio Michael Weyman, Dean Young and Jon Green, while the Tigers have made two changes to the team that defeated the Raiders on Sunday with Keith Galloway returning to the starting side, Todd Payten moving to second row and Mark Flanagan pushed back to the bench.

Penrith are one club embracing the Women in League weekend with the Panthers turning pink for the match this Friday against the Manly Sea Eagles.

Travis Burns, Smith have been named in the Panthers line up, while the Sea Eagles have recalled Dean Whare to its centres for the injured co-captain Jamie Lyon.

It’s a Super Saturday this weekend with three live matches over six huge hours for League fans to tune into.

Parramatta has been forced to make two changes, to the side that narrowly lost last night against Newcastle, for its clash with the Brisbane Broncos.

Krisnan Inu and Jonathon Wright have been recalled in place of injured Eric Grothe and Timana Tahu, who has accepted the early guilty plea for his grade three reckless high tackle charge and will miss four weeks.

The Broncos meanwhile have named Matt Gillett in the centres for the injured Alex Glenn (ankle), while Lagi Setu returns to the forward pack.

Matt Bowen has been named in the North Queensland halves as a partner to Johnathan Thurston, while Carl Webb also returns to the interchange bench for the home clash with the Cronulla Sharks.

Cronulla welcomes back Adam Cuthbertson and Taulima Tautai to an 18-man squad with prop Kade Snowden accepting the early guilty plea after being hit with a dangerous contact charge.

NRL Super Saturday concludes when the South Sydney Rabbitohs take its home game against the Melbourne Storm to Perth again.

Both sides today named unchanged line-ups for the duel way out West, though the Storm announced position changes with Justin O’Neill to start on the wing and Kevin Proctor to start at lock.

The Sydney Roosters welcome back Mitchell Pearce and Nate Myles for the trip to Christchurch and the home game against the New Zealand Warriors on Sunday afternoon.

The Gold Coast Titans meanwhile have been bolstered for its home clash with Newcastle by the return of Preston Campbell, Luke Bailey and Ashley Harrison. Scott Prince however will miss a week with scans today confirming a small tear to his right hamstring.

Newcastle travel north with Con Mika named on the interchange bench, after missing last night’s thrilling two point win over Parramatta.

Canberra and Canterbury round out the weekend on Monday night football, with Josh Miller returns from injury as cover for Scott Logan (fractured right arm), while Adam Mogg moves into the halfback role with Josh McCrone to start off the bench.

The Bulldogs have named Mickey Paea and Dene Halatu on an extended interchange bench, while Ryan Tandy joins Ben Hannant in the front row.

Below are all the team line-ups that were announced today, along with Radio and Television coverage details.
