Heritage round in the 2010 NRL Season has come and gone with the focus now on the Origin series that kicks off in eight days time.

Both New South Wales and Queensland have named their teams, and exclusively covered by our Brisbane correspondent Andrew Keyte today.

Meanwhile, back to the NRL and with the first Origin match round 11 consists of only five matches.

The Knights and Wests Tigers kick off the weekend on Friday at Newcastle in what is the only match for the night.

Newcastle has named Wes Naiqama at fullback in place of skipper Kurt Gidley, while Matt Hilder and Cameron Ciraldo return to the starting side.

Wests Tigers meanwhile have named Geoff Daniela in place of injured centre Blake Ayshford, who joins Liam Fulton on a growing list of players’ to be sidelined.

Fulton is likely to miss up to six weeks with a right shoulder injury, while Ayshford four weeks with a groin injury.

The red-hot Parramatta takes on the luckless Sharks at Parramatta Stadium this Saturday night.

After a slow start, the Eels have strung together four successive victories in stark contrast to Cronulla who have only two wins from nine games so far.

Winger Eric Grothe joins five-eighth Kris Keating in a return to the Parramatta side. Grothe returns following an arthroscopy on a knee injury incurred during the round six win over South Sydney.

Tom Humble will also make his debut at fullback as cover for Jarryd Hayne who is away on NSW Origin duty.

The Sharks have resisted making any changes to the side that lost to Penrith last Sunday, today naming an unchanged line-up.

New Zealand and South Sydney open NRL Sunday from Auckland, with the Warriors naming captain Simon Mannering for a return to the side after overcoming a hamstring strain. His replacement last weekend Lewis Brown moves back onto an extended bench.

Fullback Lance Hohaia is poised to take the field for his 150th NRL game, joining four former teammates to reach the prestigious milestone.

The Rabbitohs have named Scott Geddes in the starting line-up for injured skipper Roy Asotasi, while Eddy Pettybourne replaces Queensland Origin rep Dave Taylor.

Michael Crocker was named on the bench with Luke Capewell travelling at 18th man.

The Raiders meanwhile have named Danny Galea and rookie Sam Mataora in the squad to take on the Dragons at Wollongong on Sunday.

St George-Illawarra meanwhile have had to make several changes with seven players involved in the first Origin match.

The Panthers and Bulldogs complete the shortened weekend with the regular Monday night Football match at Penrith.

Shane Elford takes the reigns as Penrith skipper in the absence of Petero Civoniceva, while Luke Lewis and Trent Waterhouse are also away with Origin duties.

Gavin Cooper and Nathan Smith return to the back row, with Frank Puletua named on the five-man bench.

Ben Barba is one of several youngsters named in the Bulldogs side in place of experienced trio Jamal Idris, Brett Kimmorley and Michael Ennis.

Barba comes in for Kimmorley at half-back, while Shane Neumann makes his debut in the centres and Dene Halatau set to start in the forward pack.

Below are all the team line-ups that were announced today, along with Radio and Television coverage details.
