NRL boss David Gallop has told the ABC's Offsiders program that it is up to South Sydney to deal with the incident involving coach Jason Taylor and player David Fa'alogo.

Taylor and Fa'alogo were allegedly involved in an incident at the Rabbitohs' end of season celebrations which resulted in Taylor being knocked to the ground.

Gallop says it is a classical example of an issue that the club should deal with.
