4 min: Kevin Gordon fumbles in a play-the-ball only 15 metres out from his own line.
5 min: VIDEO REF - possible try for Colin Best following a Chris Sandow cross-field bomb ...
5 min: NO TRY - Fetuli Talanoa has knocked the ball on before Colin Best was able to get to it - 20 metre restart coming up for the Titans.
7 min: VIDEO REF - Scott Prince hoists a mid-field bomb, there's plenty of hands trying to get to it before David Mead picks up the scraps and crosses the line ...
7 min: NO TRY - a Titans knock-on is (eventually!) found among the replays, so the Rabbitohs get the ball back.
7 min: A lost ball from Issac Luke is followed up by a penalty to the Titans, giving them a new attacking set from 30 metres out.
10 min: VIDEO REF - Luke Bailey is claiming a try this time, but was a Rabbitoh held back from the play?
10 min: NO TRY - Scott Prince dabs a kick into the in-goal but William Zillman is ruled to have interfered with John Sutton as both players were trying to catch it. Meanwhile Michael Crocker is limping up the tunnel, not sure what the problem is there.
12 min: Preston Campbell is forced to kick on the last tackle only 15 metres out from his own line after some strong Rabbitoh defence.
13 min: CHOMP - William Zillman is placed on report after an on-field biting complaint by Jamie Simpson. It's a bit crazy because Zillman was nowhere near Simpson when he complained about it, so no-one is sure when the alleged bite actually took place.
15 min: Preston Campbell hobbles from the field with a leg injury.
16 min: A video of the bite has just been shown and it's pretty damning evidence - Zillman will be in trouble there.
18 min: VIDEO REF - Colin Best looks to have scored, just checking to see if he was held up ...

Colin Best crosses for the opening try after some sustained pressure on the Titans line, finished off with pretty simple backline play. Chris Sandow misses the conversion attempt.

20 min: Colin Best loses the ball on his own 40 metre line, giving the Titans a chance to hit straight back.
21 min: VIDEO REF - Matthew White claims a try after an attacking kick from Mat Rogers rebounds off Colin Best and into White's arms ...
21 min: TRY Gold Coast Titans (Benefit of the doubt)
The try is awarded despite suggestions that Scott Prince had deliberately obstructed the Rabbitohs defence by jumping for the ball too early. Prince adds the extra two.

24 min: The Titans get a penalty to move straight back into attacking position and then force a repeat set by trapping Nathan Merritt inside his own in-goal.
26 min: VIDEO REF - Mark Minichiello claimed a try before Beau Champion picked up the scraps and took off 80 metres in the other direction. The Titans defence wraps Champion up, but we're going all the way back to check the try ...
26 min: TRY Gold Coast Titans (Benefit of the doubt)
Mat Rogers sets up the try with a nice run and offload before Mark Minichiello finished it off with three Rabbitoh defenders hanging onto him. Scott Prince adds the extras.

30 min: VIDEO REF - a real mad scramble here following a Scott Prince grubber kick ... it doesn't look like any Titans got to the ball though ...
30 min: NO TRY - and a penalty to the Rabbitohs as a Titans chaser was offside from Prince's kick.
32 min: VIDEO REF - this has got to be getting close to some sort of video ref record tonight - this time Chris Sandow is claiming a try for the Bunnies after a John Sutton cross-field bomb ...

Chris Sandow is awarded the try after Colin Best chased through and managed to tap the ball backwards. Sandow adds the extras as well.
Gold Coast Titans 12-10
34 min: Colin Best tries an offload for Fetuli Talanoa inside his own half but Talanoa can't claim it cleanly and the ball is turned over to the Titans.
35 min: Scott Prince grubbers through the line with three Titans chasing through - but Fetuli Talanoa manages to win the race to the ball and knocks it dead.
36 min: Scott Prince tries another grubber, this one is far too strong and goes dead.
37 min: Nathan Merritt tries a chip-and-chase on halfway, it comes off for him but then he's collared high by Scott Prince. The Rabbitohs get the penalty and move right into attacking position.
39 min: TRY South Sydney Rabbitohs
Fetuli Talanoa gets across in the corner after a nice short pass from Colin Best exposes the opposing winger who had come in for no reason. Chris Sandow misses the conversion attempt.

What an absolutely crazy first half. This match has had a bit of everything so far and no doubt there's more to come - stay tuned!
The second half is underway! Preston Campbell has returned for the Titans, but still no sign of Michael Crocker for the Rabbitohs.
42 min: David Fa'alogo concedes a penalty for being offside and then gets marched another 10 metres for backchat. The Titans will start a new set 30 metres out.
43 min: Scott Prince stabs a kick into the in-goal, John Sutton leaves it to the last second before knocking it dead.
44 min: TRY Gold Coast Titans
Scott Prince throws a nice short pass to Mark Minichiello and he reaches across the line to score despite an attempted tackle from John Sutton. Prince converts.

48 min: A great chase from Jamie Simpson after a kick from halfway forces the Titans to knock the ball dead.
49 min: David Mead catches a Chris Sandow chip-kick and races 65 metres upfield before being caught by Nathan Merritt.
51 min: 40/20 - John Sutton boots a beauty, William Zillman could only watch it go over the sideline.
52 min: Eddy Pettybourne is tackled into touch on only the 3rd tackle.
57 min: The Titans have had two repeat sets on the Rabbitohs line but have been repelled by some tough defence. Mark Minichiello nearly claimed his third try at the end of it but the kick from Scott Prince was just a little too strong and Minichiello ended up knocking it dead.
63 min: John Sutton hoists a last-tackle bomb that sails over the dead ball line on the full.
64 min: A crazy offload from Matthew White turns possession back over to the Rabbitohs on the Titans 30 metre line.
64 min: Nathan Merritt grubber kicks ahead and William Zillman knocks it dead. Momentum has swung in favour of the Rabbitohs now ...
65 min: Issac Luke darts out of dummy half and nearly manages to link up with David Fa'alogo under the posts but a Titan hand has knocked the ball down - the Rabbitohs will get a scrum feed.
67 min: Chris Sandow chips into the in-goal but Kevin Gordon is able to claim it on the full.
68 min: John Sutton dummies his way through the line before linking up with Nathan Merritt, and Merritt is tackled only two metres away from the tryline. The Titans are penalised for being offside on the next play so Craig Wing takes a quick tap - only to lose the ball on the first tackle.
71 min: John Sutton and Jamie Simpson create half a chance out wide before Simpson tries a risky offload back infield that is fumbled by Mat Rogers, so the Rabbitohs will have a scrum feed 40 metres out.
72 min: John Sutton comes up with a nice offload to David Fa'alogo in heavy traffic but Fa'alogo fumbles the ball as he looked to head for the tryline.
73 min: A strong kick-and-chase from the Titans traps Fetuli Talanoa in his own in-goal.
74 min: The Titans force another goal-line drop out - they're closing the match out nicely here.
75 min: VIDEO REF - David Mead looks to have sealed the match for the Titans ...

Scott Prince throws a wide looping pass to David Mead who manages to get across in the corner just ahead of the Rabbitohs defenders. Prince misses the conversion attempt.

77 min: Mark Minichiello catches the short restart from the Rabbitohs and makes it all the way to the 10-metre line before being caught by Nathan Merritt.
78 min: The Rabbitohs come up with the ball after a Scott Prince grubber kick and make it back to halfway on the first tackle.
